Stoch has enough pace, control, shooting/crossing ability to mark him out as a vast improvement on Kalou for any wing-role.

A MODEST PROPOSAL FOR PREVENTING THE CHILDREN OF POOR PEOPLE IN IRELAND FROM BEING A BURDEN TO THEIR PARENTS OR COUNTRY, AND FOR MAKING THEM BENEFICIAL TO THE PUBLIC

(by eating them).

Genius.

Zhirkov might have to move to midfield with Van Aanholt and Bertrand doing well.

He is a midfield player but can play in defence if his team needs him in that position, so he is not really in competition with Cole, Van Aanholt , Ryan Bertrand but with the guys that play on our LHS in midfield like Malouda, Lampard.

THE YOUNG GENERATION Van Aanholt and Mellis will stay until end of the season, playing for the reserves and training with first team, because of home-grown player rules. Cork will go back on loan to Coventry or similar team.

Jack Cork returns to Chelsea.

He could return to Coventry but it looks highly unlikely after the return to fitness of Sammy Clingan and the arrival of Gary Deegan.

Hopefully he will be able to secure a new loan move soon..

Cork was in the same lineup as Clingan before the latter got injured so I see no issues there. Infact, the presence of industrious Clingan allows Cork to play a bit further up the pitch and gives more solidity to their midfield. Deegan has just arrived from the Irish League and he is another ball winner. Coleman would take Cork back in a heartbeat if the contractual issues are all sorted and this is what Chelsea and the player wants.

Could you elaborate a little on the contractual issues?
