Blue Rod Report post Posted September 19, 2021 That was a joyful second half. One quality of Rudiger that is rarely talked about is his ball play. He hits such precise passes across every distance. Not surprised how he slotted that one in. Pleased for Kepa as well. His professionalism is remarkable. When called upon, he took his saves. Besides the goal, Kante added stability and calmth to the midfield. The whole team was absolutely brilliant.
Martin1905 Report post Posted September 19, 2021 First away game of the season, always my favourite away game of the season, I ****ing hate Tottenham. From start to finish, not sure about the comments about us being better in the second half, we were colossal from minute one. Yes they looked good for half an hour but created literally nothing!! What a performance, what a result, what a day!!!!!!!!!!!!
NoblyBobly Report post Posted September 19, 2021 Would that be us at the top of the league?
Ham Report post Posted September 19, 2021 16 minutes ago, NoblyBobly said: Very impressive. Best we have played this season. Tore a good team apart. When your forwards aren't firing and your defenders step up its a very good sign of the depth we have. I think you're on the wrong match day thread. This was Spurs. Ham Report post Posted September 19, 2021 Alonso was simply immense today. Should have gotten motm. That scoreline should have been 7 or 8 nil by the way.
Floyd25 Report post Posted September 19, 2021 Tuchel echoing that he wasn’t happy with the energy and intensity in the first half. Anyway we battered them in the end, we’re a vastly superior team to them.

The long awaited sequel to 6-1 perhaps? I was actually spot on I'd say. We were certainly worth 6 goals today.
