I've no idea what point you're trying to make.

I'm asking if you were also equally uncomfortable with the political spectacle of the armed forces being paraded at English sporting events. I mean, that's political nonsense too, right?

I popped into the start of the Community Shield to see 'taking the knee' is still compulsory.

When is this nonsense going to stop?  It's all got far too political for my liking and I'm very uncomfortable with it.

Equally uncomfortable with soldiers handling the FA Cup?

It does seem a bit conspiratorial that in one week, three black players have received Klan level racist advise on twitter for penalty misses.

These comments are so overtly racist, bordering on 1970s language, that you just have to wonder...... 🤔

    Just seems a bit coordinated.

Yeah, it's almost as if there are loads of racists with internet access.

We pretty much let Higuain walk out the door. Not that he was necessarily the answer. But having him around would have been better than the potentially huge gamble we are about to take on Tammy possibly.

Right. We only tolerate strikers who don't score if they cost us an arm and a leg. But strikers who don't score that cost us nothing are 'huge gambles'.

This is all fine and dandy but we cannot replace him and for the past two seasons our whole attacking strategy has been, give it to Hazard and hope he produces some magic. For me, we now have no goals in us whatsoever. At the rate this is going we will be having Morata running around up front next season as he has a call back.

This is true only as long as we don't invest the Hazard funds in a few other players capable of scoring and assisting. I'd love for us to go back to the days where we didn't rely on one single player to chip in with goals and assists, frankly (no pun intended).

I guess with the Kick it Out they are predominantly aimed at Racist issues to be fair. With the fan in the Sterling incident, he was named, shamed and lost his job, is that really fair? Even supposing it was true and he did shout black C ? It's unpleasant, not the sort of bloke I would knock about with but do I wish him to have the anguish of worry about money, having to move perhaps, sell a car, lose his wife perhaps? He doesnt even get to watch his beloved team as his season ticket got taken away. All because of one spur of the moment bit of stupidness?

What employer would want an idiot like that sullying their brand?

I think your issue is more with the fact that the consequences around incidents like this are now market driven (which I'm grateful for).

So the media have their traditional Liverpool pre match outrage ammunition, bloody stupid song , Is it racist...not sure racial stereotyping perhaps. I'm not even sure the player himself would even take offence...but then why would he need to when he has thousands of others doing it on his behalf...

    Yeah, all Liverpool's fault.

Guess this was also part of the elaborate scouse conspiracy to bring Chelsea down in the media:

Maybe its just me but I feel we are getting the short straw with this Higuain-Piatek deal. £40M for a striker like Piatek in this market is more than worth the risk. I know the board want to back Sarri but Higuain should have been brought in last summer for a loan move with Piatek being bought this window or  next summer. I can't help but feel we wont see many better bargains than £40M for such a striker in this crazy market.

The objective is top four. For that to happen, Sarri needs players he can trust. Higuain is one of those players.

    Really doubt it; he's 18.

Think it's much more likely he and his agent know how much money the likes of McEachran and RLC have managed to get out of us without having to be yet good enough to contribute.

You genuinely think we haven't already offered CHO >40k p/w? For a player we apparently value at 40m?

No, it's one of the root causes for the polarization of the western society we see today. There is nothing about one rule for some that is common sense. We don't need special legislation for anyone, we are all humans. Leislation for humans should be enough.

But in a world of culture marxism, moral relativism and post-modernism things that are bloody obvious nees to be revisited all over again. It'll be our downfall. In many ways I can't wait for it to happen.

My last contruition to this thread.

Jordan Peterson is a hell of a drug. Are you also big on that whole 'all lives matter' talking point?
