  1. Chelsea vs Aston Villa

Kepa TC AC Rudiger RJ Saul Kante BC Ziyech Werner CHO
  2. Tottenham Hotspur 0 Chelsea 3

I would sub in NG for mount and Werner for kai. They are running rings around our mid. Would rather sit in a 3-5-2/5-3-2 and hit them on the counter. Currently its just a matter of time before they get son in a 1v1 with Silva. Silva has been brilliant but his speed will be exposed by the end

Kai has been absolutely atrocious. I mean atrocious.
  4. Tottenham Hotspur 0 Chelsea 3

Good line up. Any idea about spurs?

Definitely not in the 4th/5th gear yet. But come on guys, it's been a stop start season so far. A LOT of the starters came late, had no pre-season, and then there was the international break. So we need to take all of that into account We are unbeaten. Have had some great results. Lukaku is on fire and playing some great football and carrying us to the Ws. With time there will be better chemistry. Come on chels

Hence why there are loans. So that these young talented players can get a platform to perform. Also, the point in debate was not CHO's playing time, but his actual talent itself. Hence the point of 100 appearances at 20 years old.

"Callum has to overcome the gap between training and games. I see a stronger Callum every day in training and he needs to overcome this gap and show this kind of determination that he shows in training. "If he gets minutes, it's never a gift. Nobody gets gifts because we take maybe sometimes hard decisions like for Callum not to let him go. He needs to deserve it. I know it's not his favourite position but I think he can play this position and serve the team when it's necessary. Today it was necessary and still he can do better. Still he can be more aggressive, still he needs to push himself absolutely to the limits. "This is what he does in training. He needs to overcome this gap to fight for his place in the squad. This is life at Chelsea." From TT's presser yesterday. Word for word. Also, it's 100 appearances. Those 22 starts don't take into account FL using him when we were 0-3 down against WBA and many more such appearances. No mean feat achieving 100 appearances at 20. That's a proper indication of his talent levels. I just hope he shows to fans on the pitch what he is clearly showing the managers in training.

Mendy Azpi AC Rudi RJ jorgi saul BC Mount Werner Kai I would play saul along with jorgi. More advanced role. Plus CL would be a better stage to integrate him into the formation and team than Pl.

Fair enough in that case. For me, he seemed very light weight. Still does to be fair. Always thought he would need to add muscle (not a goretzka level transformation but a natural progression of hitting the gym). Regarding CHO, let's not forget that he was as good, if not better than sancho at youth level. The talent is definitely there and no chance it comes out sitting on the bench.
  10. Transfer Talk Topic

Fair play for you to say this mate. I would love for that one poster to own up to everything that he/she said. Calling Lukaku a "donkey" and what not. I mean the level of abuses that were laid on to him. I guess the name was @King Kante

I can't disagree, but there must be something in him that the club and TT see that we don't. Let's be honest, if TT did not think he was good enough, he would not be in the squad. Playing a 100 games at an age of 20 is no small feat, which would also mean that multiple managers have deemed him good enough. I think CHO might be a case like Andreas'. A lot of fans thought he was not good enough either, but he surely is proving a lot of us wrong. I feel CHO might be on a similar mould. But as of this moment, I feel, he really really need to go out on loan.

Chalobah plays like a seasoned veteran rather than a 22 year old boy. Really impressed by him. Cho, ziyech were below average. I really hope I am proven wrong but our options in AMs are so short in quality. Ziyech barely looks like a PL player, pulisic is barely ever available and if available has 4 good games a season. CHO just does not seem ready. That loan would have done him a massive favour. He is still just 20 and has already played 100!!!!!! Games for the club. Says a lot, but he really really needs consistent gametime to improve. Saul had a SHOCKER!!! Absolute stinker. I mean someone MUST have given him an heads up of what PL is, right? Hope he gets upto speed with PL. Lukaku and Mendy really saved our asses today.

I would put in jorgi for saul straight out of the tunnel. This is just a disaster waiting to happen
  14. Chelsea 3 Aston Villa 0

True. What is it with "this bloke" who won us the CL.
  15. Chelsea 3 Aston Villa 0

Given the circumstances, this might be our best team. Jorgi started all the games for italy, ac for denmark. Plus most of these players were with TT for 2 weeks, so makes sense TT might havr prepared them for it better than players who came just 2 days ago and barely had any time to prepare
