  1. New Kits

Got mine this morning in Intersport for £40, reduced from RRP £45...I got the home shirt last year for £30 down from an RRP of £35 so I'm well pi*sed off!!
  2. Didier Drogba

quote:Originally posted by Grahame FendleIHateLiverpool: it wasn't a pop at you directly, I just find it hard to swallow that there are so many topics where people are critical of players compared to the number of topics praising our players. We are, after all, supposed to be supporters. id="quote"> id="quote">Sorry for bringing it up again Grahame, but my view is, that us as supporters, very dedicated supporters, should be able to express their views on Chelsea's players freely. Whether it is a praising or a slating, it is cfc-net that I adore as I can explain reasoning behind my views and it gives us all a chance to talk about all things Chelsea. Slating players always falls into that category. As much as we may love a player one week, the next week we may be totally on their case, and that is one of the things I love most in football, and, as a result of this I think it is normal there are more "against" topics than "for". Apologies if this seemed off-topic Grahame but as you may very well know I just love to explain my reasons.
  3. Didier Drogba

By the way, I noticed that I said "come out to the press"...just to clarify, Didier has NOT stated his homosexuality publicly as yet...haha
  4. Didier Drogba

The reason Frank Lampard is our top scorer?? Not because he gets a few more games than Didier, not because he gets paid a wee bit extra in his weekly wage, not because he gets more chances because that certainly is not true...but Didier...Frankie scores more goals than you because he knows where to put the ball! Time upon time we Chelsea fans, including me, have given you support and reasoning for when you miss the most blatantly easy chances at goal, and then you come out to the press and moan that it is not right he's scoring more. Come on Didier, give us and your hard-working team a break.
  5. Didier Drogba

Fair fair point, along with the demanding fans also comes the English press, every club in Europe know that it is the most unsympathetic press!
  6. Didier Drogba

I always thought Drogba would have a great second season after his average first, and I share that opinion with many anti-Chelsea mates. I also think that if Crespo had stayed with us for his 2nd year, personal problems aside, if he didn't have them, I could see him having a great second season. People need to realise that coming to a new league, possibly the most demanding league in the world, takes alot to get used to and they should give a bit more time to those people.Saunter
  7. Didier Drogba

Quite worrying....this reminds of a similar situation with Mutu...always out clubbing, let's hope that after JM reads this he has a word and stamps his authority on when and how often, if at all, his players are allowed in clubs. I'm all for having great craic but Drogba should maybe be living a healthier lifestyle, I know I would live any lifestyle wanted of me if I was gettin £60thousand+ every week.
  8. Chelsea Reserve & Youth Team

Wellllll!!What a game, so happy we won in the end. I was at the match myself, a great match with alot of support for the Mighty Blues, I'm very annoyed however as I'm working tomorrow so can't head to the Final. For those of who got no commentary or a bad picture, the Final is on live tomorrow night on BBCOne N.Ireland, which is obtainable through Sky Digital, definitely worth a watch-the great thing is I'll be able to see it at work.....I work in a bar, which also has quite a few Chelsea supporters so will be good craic! For those who are also unsure of what the Milk Cup is, it is a club and International tournament which started in Northern Ireland years ago. It started with just a few big names but is now the most reputable youth championship in the world. Great outing for the whole week and tickets are cheap. The "big" teams to name but few in this year's tournament have been CHELSEA, Man Utd, Everton, Boca Juniors, FC Porto, Cruz Azul, Feyenoord, Hearts, CSKA Moscow, Barcelona, Benfica, Otago, Newcastle Utd,Maccabi Haifa and Red Star Belgrade. International teams are Northern Ireland, Brazil, Serbia And Montenegro and USA. So far this year's tournament has been the most enjoyable and look forward to seeing the Blues beating Barca....(again!!)

  10. New Kits

Does anyone know when the date for the new kit's release date is? Am I right in thinking that it will be both Samsung's name and also the new badge on it? And that the Adidas deal isn't until 2006-07 season?
  11. Ashley Cole

What is it with David Dein?? Everytime I see the name I think bad things, what has me thinking these is beyond me but it is something which has happened recently, not necessarily "Cole-Gate" but something else. He is a slippery, sly SOB and would pounce to try and secretly tap-up any of our players if there were words of discomfort from any of our stars. Imagine the scenario, if a player like Makelele, god forbid this never happens, but I'm using this name because of the continuing French contingent at the club, if he was to come out and report that he was unsettled in the Chelsea team, do you really think that c**t Dein wouldn't try and slither his way to try and influence Maka to sign??I think not, so grow up David Dein and stop trying to give another side of london a bad name!!!
