Expertly put Mr Bobly. In my opinion if Dyke had any less class he'd be Alan Yentob and if Yentob had any less class he'd be one of his former employees. And I'll leave that train of thought right there before I self combust.

In a photo-spread normally reserved for Big Teams enjoying Cup Final victories the Faily Excess devotes almost two pages to Loserpool's stunning 1-0 victory over Bournemouth. This gives us a useful foretaste of what might appear in this Sunday's paper should the unthinkable happen at the weekend. Meanwhile Moany W**ks seems to have been given the new Exces Sports Dross desk role of permanent Mourinho baiter. Dear W***s I appreciate you probably fail to see the irony of being a talentless hack with no competition from equally poor colleagues scrawling rubbish about someone who works in a performance and results based industry but those of us who aren't fortunate enough to get paid to make stuff up with no basis in truth do. Also great to see Greg Dyke championing a full investigation into the selection of the 2018 WC's preferred bidder. Hopefully we can then have an investigation into what some cynics might see as the FAs attempts to get the EPL title awarded to their preferred winner.
  3. Khobar's Legacy

Yes indeed, although they have pulled away from us by a further point and we do face them in a relegation battle next weekend.
  4. Non Chelsea: Premier League

"FULL-TIME Man Utd 0-0 Man City Posted at 15:54 Nil-nil. Football the loser. City go top of the Premier League but will have to play much better than that to win the thing." Wow two teams get slagged off on the BBC site and neither one is Chelsea.
  5. Media / Press

Agree, BM there's a potential legal minefield out here.

I thought the Daily Excess was relatively restrained today, going off on some hypothetical conjecture about what would happen if Jose refused to pay his fine and took the FA to court. I can only assume the lack of vitriol is because Hack Holden is still out on a jolly in Dubai, though why not watching our game should prevent him givng his views on it I don't know. It's never stopped him before (I believe).
  7. So trying to follow the thread, basically it could be that Bernard Breslaw has faked his own death and has been impersonating Puyol dressed as a woman of unkown ethnicity and using the pseudonym Heather Rabatts to obtain work for the FA and has somehow managed to pull the wool over the eyes of the ex BBC genius Greg Dyke. This scenario actually seems less preposterous than ex BBC supremo and former colleague of Jimmy Saville - Alan Yentob's hearty support of the Head of Kids Company so who knows.
  8. Media / Press

Indeed we can tallow it to continue.
  9. Khobar's Legacy

Paul Joyce of the Daily Excess on Klopp "He had wanted to see, feel and smell the arena for the first time". No-one needs to visit Anfield to smell it. I can smell it from South London. To be fair to Paul Joyce he does now seem to realise that Pool are so dire they'll be very hard to fix which is a big improvement on the days when he was helping Slippy G masquerade as the club's saviour.
  10. Khobar's Legacy

Well said Mr Moon. Hopefully, soon there will be no more Klop or Kop just the clip-clip of the virtual horse drawn hearse carrying the metaphorical corpse of LFC .
  11. Media / Press

Yes indeed and presumably tomorrow we'll be reading about Liverpool's gutsy home draw and Spurs plucky defeat. If you melted down our entire lardy press you wouldn't be able to make one nice smelling candle .
  12. Khobar's Legacy

Just imagine the gush of released pent-up press prose if the scum win tomorrow as the delicious desert to the joy of Arse on Tuesday. The press coverage will make it feel like living in the days leading up to the 1971 FA Cup Final. There's a lot to enjoy about following Chelsea in the 21st century, you just have to accept the Press are still living in the 20th century.
  13. Media / Press

Another two Excess articles from T**y W**nks neither of which is more than a poorly written diatribes digging out Mourinho. No analysis of stats or tactical insight. If this one dimensional school year 5 standard scribbler gets paid one penny of a salary it's too much. He's supposed to be a sports writer not scrawling celebrity tittle-tattle.
  14. Media / Press

I won't even bother to work out what the point of your post is Mr Simpleton but, I'm sure it matters to you.
  15. Media / Press

Moany W***s the Faily Excess's Chief bulls****er manages to crayon two Chelsea articles without either showing any knowledge or understanding of football today - a new low even for him. The first is a pathetic attempt to goad the FA into applying the Jose Stadium ban as soon as possible whilst the other is a blatant attempt to unsettle Hazard. Dear Moany, in case you hadn't noticed you are employed by a rag who's front page headline today is "Rhubarb can save your life". Does that perhaps tell you something about the quality of the "paper" for which you write? A rag that is so in tune with the major stories of the day, its editorial comment includes some bloke who lost 20 stone and managed to get a girl-friend. FFS you could make two girl-friends out of 20 stone and have enough left over to replace Moany. I appreciate it must be dissapointing your paper's old go-to headline of 'Miracle Cure of Statins' has been so totally de-bunked you were reduced at the weekend to 'statins only add 3 days to your life' but, really! If only your health lottery gimmick loving improprietor would let Moany W***s scrawl the entire paper, we'd all feel like we've had years added to our lives.
  16. Khobar's Legacy

Dear Mr Bobly. Mr Khobar asked me to pass on his enjoyment of your most excellent post. Cheers "One favour if you could please - could you convey my appreciation to NoblyBobly for the Kit Kat story? Just read it and it fair cheered me up :-) one small point though, he says we were on quite good terms with the dippers in 1984 - I wasn't, I f####### hated them just as much then as I do now."
  17. Khobar's Legacy

"Liverpool's loss to Brescia leaves Chelsea as the only British representatives in the last 16." Well played the Chelsea Ladies. Nothing about your impressive victory over e Scottish Champions in the Excess which means you are now ranked alongside the Chelsea men in being ignored by the talentless hacks that make up their sports desk when you achieve important things. Holden appears to be scrawling poorly written reports on the Pakistand v England test this week. If he's actually out in Abu Dhabi can someone stick a drink in his hand, take a picture and then contact the Abu Dhabi police.
  18. Khobar's Legacy

    Good story NB.
  19. Media / Press

:D. You make a good point well Char and I do sometimes follow that sage advice. if we were to pick up on every anti-Chelsea story in the media we would probably crash the CFCnet servers. However, the other quote I am oft reminded of is from Edmund Burke "All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing." (Edmund Burke) I appreciate that Burke was referring to something of far greater import than a two bit, talentless hack like Holden getting paid to feel smug about buildIng a career on vindictive snidiness but sometimes it's hard to resist coming down to his level and calling a latrine of a career a latrine of a career.
  20. Media / Press

Hack Holden in the Scumday Excess. "Cowardly FA soft on Jose." Apparently he should have had a touchline ban. Well I suppose Jaundiced Jim is an expert in cowardice as he sits down the pub, scrawling barely literate rubbish to attack someone because some idiotic newspaper improprieter is prepared to waste money on a talentless wannabe Journo who has never written an intelligent, balanced article in his already too lengthy career. What a source of pride this bitter, bullying oaf must be to his parents.
  21. Media / Press

The Xcess sports pages were a very enjoyable read today wth no mention of Chelsea which also proves the value of the old adage "If you can't say something nice, don't say anything at all". Of course Paul Scouse has lots of nice things to say about Liverpool and Klopp but, I'm confident that will all unravel in time.
  22. Media / Press

Yep, and another snidey aside from Patrick Walker in the Standard about Klopp being more likeable than JM which is a bit rich When you consider the likability of that plucked and ironed sack faced hack.
  23. Media / Press

From Chung Mong Joon On Wednesday he told a Leaders in Sport convention in London: "Fifa has become a badge of shame. To call it a mafia is almost insulting to mafia, so blatant and arrogant is its corruption Just to clarify he was talking about FIFA not the FA just in case anyone was confused and felt that the quote could be equally applicable To describe Dykes's mob.
  24. Media / Press

I was thinking the exact same thing. Another non-story by Moany *anks in the Excess based on the ramblings of Capello and Cruyff. Hold the press - old blokes who won something a While back have some reservations about a manager's style.
  25. Khobar's Legacy

Too true. Paul Scouse of the Excess paints a picture of Klop wistfully admiring the Kop on his 2014 Group Stage visit to Anfield. He could just as easily have been trying to work out which scum-bag stole his hub-caps. Juxtaposed with this deluded tosh on the back page is Moany *anks interpretation of CFC's public support of JM as a final ultimatum to improve results. And that ladies and gentlemen is the perfect example of the lack of biase, truth and quality in the sad ramblings of a collective bunch of self-important literary louts who would struggle to get a job as a benefits cheat in the real world rather than being granted the obscene abuse of privilege that accompanies masquerading as a free press in this country.
