Musical Tastes

Well, The Stranglers were awesome again, as were the 2 support acts. 1st up were Mike Marlin who have recently released their 1st album and a very good live act. Next was Wilko Johnson of Dr Feelgood and Ian Dury fame. His bass player, Norman Watt-Roy, looks like Steptoe, which is very amusing. They are up there with the good R&B bands and worth paying your money to see.

Took my boy right to the front and we both got squashed, but it was worth it. Not a bad start for his 1st gig.

Bit of nostalgia...

Great to see Ossie & co in such fine fettle. The end of the clip is particularly worth watching.

They don't make 'em like that any more.

That was a nice little bit at the end, I sense a ressurection coming.

Yeah, Die by the Drop popped up on Triple J about six months ago, and they've consistently showed off other tracks on the album... Including Blue Blood Blues, I'm Mad and Hustle and Cuss. Good stuff on there.
