Prefer Man City to Arsenal.

Every time. I've no problem with City at all, Arsenal are just so arrogant and sanctimonious and have their heads so far up their own backsides it's untrue, thy're like the London version of Liverpool. When it comes to the crunch, Arsenal will bottle it as per usual. I'll really love it if we stuff them at their Lego stadium next month.

There was a time this afternoon (with Wham having beaten the Scousers earlier on, so the world looked good) when I felt some karmic compensation for L'Arses having scored against the Toons (1-0) because the Swans got one back against ManUre (1-1).

Then it all went Brad Pitts up...

To be honest, I don't know what I want, apart from everyone else to get draws and for us to win, of course. I suspect what happens at the top should not matter as we are not involved but would prefer not to have to hear sanctimonious Arsenal fans going on and on. A key reason is that I work in the City and come across the fans of this club more than I do Man City or Leicester. Spurs and Man United don't matter, they won't win anyway. From our perspective, I am not sure if its better that teams below us lose or those just above us. It's hard to say.

Agreed, but I think it's a given that we end up between 7th and 17th, so for me the concern is about the wrong teams winning the PL, and in my world Citeh are not a wrong team, so the fact that they're currently losing to Watford (normally something to savour), just puts L'Arses even further on top (most definitely 'wrong'!).

Anyone but Arsenal for me.

I'd honestly rather Liverpool win the title than Arsenal (but thankfully that's a situation we won't have to encounter this season).

In real life, it's quite easy to shut down Arsenal fans. The lack of a European Cup and fourth place trophies is what seems to sting them the most.

Online though, they're a different animal. I have a friend who works as an online moderator for a newspaper and he says far and away the most amount of online trolling/abuse directed from any set of fans to another, comes from Arsenal fans to Chelsea fans. And it's not a two way thing.

I don't think he's far off at all, on the rare occasion I read comment sections, or read the online version of the Metro (who seem to get 90% of their content from Twitter posts and pictures) - the amount and level of vitriol is unhinged. To say their fans are 'obsessed' with Chelsea doesn't do it justice. Even their 'celebrity' fans are it. I think people who think Liverpool fans generate the most hate are looking in the wrong direction.

I think before, their fans saw us as a mild irritation who they couldn't beat, but two things tipped them over the edge - May 19th 2012, and Wenger's 1000th game which gave credence to the 'Specialist in Failure' tag.

In this season of utter disaster, taking six points off them and denting their title challenge would probably mean as much as denying Liverpool the title two seasons ago.

Arsenal escape again with a point they barely deserved at stoke...

Thanks once again to Cech, 3 great saves in the second half kept them in it...how many points is that he's got them?

Looks like I did the right thing putting all my Man City players on the bench, but keeping my Leicester players in my Fantasy Football selection!! Leicester now 6 points clear... very happy for Claudio.
