Ah, maybe I do seem to see what you mean now, possibly anyway, Sorry I'm not myself just now. I got this really bad toothache last week and have been living on antibiotics and pain killers since then as I had a working commitment to attend to. I have to go to the dentist tomorrow for some root canal treatment and I'm not looking forward to it I'm afraid. I have a real phobia about the dentist!

Oh no you are indeed on the good sh-t. I feel for you. Good luck.

Ham

It was a Saturday night - but you're right 'must do better'.

I didn't mean any offence Kev. Apologies. It's just difficult sometimes to scan your posts as there are no gaps between sentences or new paragraphs. Again, no offence meant.

;-)

It's never as bad as you expect. It'll be fine.

Thanks Mark. I had an awful attempt at an injection in the dentists last week, before a decision was made to use the antibiotics first and have the root canal tomorrow. I'm pathetic I know.

Yeh fair enough. I do think I adopt this approach as much as a survival mechanism as anything. I share many of the same political sentiments as yourself as you know I think and, certainly in the past and also from time to time even now, I find myself tossing and turning in bed because something or someone has really wound me up. Nowadays though, when I catch myself having fallen into that trap...............

I doubt our political sentiments overlap very much - I'm right of centre on most things, free trade, and an ex-Investment Banker.

But I do know when I am being lied to and am proud to say I still get angry about it.

(The more you know about any particular subject the more you see how the press is largely incompetent and distorted by propaganda. Specialise in any subject - especially CFC - and it becomes blatant)

Being wound up is not falling into a trap. The trap is going with the flow.

Pete if you're a tree hugging yogurt knitter whose found your inner self, then good for you. However if you have access to some behind the counter prescription drugs, can I leave you my name and address for you to send me a wee sample?

Haha! A tree hugging yoghurt knitter I ain't and the only prescription drugs I can recommend are Nurofen Plus I'm afraid. As for other drugs? Well, I was what we might call an active teenager in the sixties Nobly and back then I might well have been able to help you alright!

OK. Well, if you're of that persuasion and holds some of the views you shared with me recently then I'm impressed and encouraged. I come from a different direction for sure, but we share the same space from time to time all the same.

As for your last sentence? I think they're both traps and we should be wary of each of them.

Had 4-5 root canal jobs done over the years plus jaw surgery, all in the chair with a local. Other than the natural anticipation and having a fair old bit of ironmongery in the mouth, it's not as bad as its cracked up to be. You'll survive.

Despite what some of you might think we are only 3 points behind the murderers. Yep 3pts behind the team managed by the German messiah. How amazing is that. A clapped out, has been, never was west London shower just 3 points behind the queen mother of English football? Remarkable.

Get some perspective people! Don't believe the hype!
