What an interesting well thought out selections....my only comment is Ossie in my five would "neutralise" all but Essien in the first two minutes!...including Wise!...just my humble opinion..

Now a 5 to frighten the world would be Borata Chopper Bumstead Baldwin and Webby.....might not win but I dare you to go on that court!...Any other "frighteners'?...bearing in mind a lower centre of gravity is an asset rather than a tall guy.

Vinny will be seething he didn’t make this team!

Sorry ....a very personal non choice!.....in no way are my choices meant to be the best!...just a "tough" bunch and I didn't like Vinny and of course the subject is a fun personal selection from all of us...and thanks for the relevant comment and interest...I would of course avoid Vinny should he have taken offence!!

Cech,

Essien, Ramires, Kante, Ashley Cole,   No formation necessary.

Mostly because they wouldn’t be able to.

From the land of Alba: Bill Robertson, Clarke, Gilmour, Nevin, Spencer

That would have been a decent team, solid at the back and tons of pace.

Or Cymru: Niedzwiecki, Ampadu, Thomas, Jones, Hughes

I tried Ireland but I could only think of Duff, Mulligan and John Dempsey.

Oh, dear. I thought I had done well with Bill Robertson as a GK.

I used to really enjoy the Evening Standard 5-a-side competition.
