Of course it was. And we should have won.

I'm with you Paul.  As I've said during the match day thread we were unlucky, we were dominating, we were cheated out of a penalty or two and ultimately it was just One of those games!  Most times we would've won the game with the team fielded.  Same as any game..

Give over.

You didn't complain when the team with 5 changes in it won at City.

There were clearly reasons for leaving out Kante and Rudiger due to fear of injury. Would you have been happy if they had played and then been ruled out for the season?

any examples?

Those are from just a quick check, the above are from the past two months and he do not include City/Le Arse. Sarri was on record as saying he gets nervous.

Kova fit to play apparently which is great news , he can help Jorgi and free Kante to go a wandering .

Those are examples of injuries / illness, sure. Not him making an error in a game, then pretending to be injured.

Edit - think we were talking at cross purposes. I was still thinking about other comments where people said he faked injury after making an error, which is not what you were saying

Sciatika

Does anyone know why they thought 5:15 would be a good time for the kickoff? Is it just that we now prefer to watch sport whilst stuffing our faces at the same time?

They probably figure they can get a bigger audience. Whereas many people might be out and about at the traditional 3pm kick off time.

I have been watching highlights of FA Cup Finals starting with 87 and 88. The atmosphere and sense of occasion is quite something else. The first Final I can remember was 2000, which my Dad took me to and as fortunate as I am to have had that experience, I barely remember any of it.

The only other FA Cup Final I have been to was 2018 and it was fun, but stale. Something about New Wembley just doesn't quite evoke that sense of occasion the Old Wembley has in folklore.
